Almost 1,300 U.S. local telecommunications companies, representing more than 1,400 exchange carrier study areas, make up our membership. Membership is defined by FCC rules and has three divisions, or subsets:
- Bell Operating Companies (Subset 1).
- Other telephone companies with annual revenues of $40 million or more (Subset 2).
- All remaining telcos (Subset 3).
